Fun Times in the Fatboy : Fatboy the Original, Orange
I first encountered the Fatboy beanbag chair at work. I was hired on and shown the office I'd be sharing with a fellow code monkey (or "Software Engineer" for you normal people). And there it was, just sitting in the corner. My first thought was "A beanbag chair, seriously?" - because we've all been there. They're fun to sit in, until one day they just explode on you. But fellow Amazon shopper, I tell you the Fatboy will not disappoint! It was only a matter of weeks before I had to have one at home.
The sittability factor is great. This thing can be whatever from a mini-mattress to an office chair. Either you're sitting, lounging, napping...this thing has you covered. I'm also impressed by its durability. As it's in an office it sees some pretty heavy usage, and it's still by all appearances just like new. Even a heavy-set man can range over and flop down on it without conspiratorially fearing that it'll explode. These things unquestionably were built to last.
Now, it is still a beanbag chair, and a rather large one at that. They can occasionally be difficult to climb back out of. Also, enthralling it from room to room might be something of a challenge due to its size and malleability, but I think they found a great balance. And honestly, if that's unquestionably an issue then you probably don't want a beanbag chair to begin with.
If you're unsure purely because of the price, think it an investment in a piece of furniture that'll be colse to for a while. It does cost 2-4 times as much as others you might find, but I assure you that it's 10 times better.
